This is How it’s Done and What You Need

• You will find that the workshops are not numbered. We suggest you to start with the Target Re-boxing, other than that there is no strict order in which the workshops should be carried out. Do not hesitate to do the same workshop twice or even three or four times at different stages of the process. The outcome won’t be the same twice!

• The group going through the process is at its best with between 6 and 10 participants. Every participant has to have joined voluntarily, not because their boss told them to. It should be fun, or the results will suffer!

• To get the process running smoothly one or two people should have formal responsibility, as conveners of the group. There is also a need for a skilled facilitator to make sure the ideation methods function properly and the outcome is taken care of.

THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED
• A place to share information
Preferably some kind of digital platform, where reminders of the next meeting can be shared, as well as documentation of ideas from the workshops. Ideally this platform contains a concept bank open to the entire company, where concepts that are not chosen for development immediately can be entered and shared.

• A nice space
The physical environment is very important for the atmosphere in the workshops. Try to find a nice, well-lit room with lots of wall space to put up papers on.
